Custom Spur Gears

Description

To design and produce your custom-made spur gear, we require a number of important parameters from you:

• Module (M): The module is a measure of gear size and determines the tooth pitch. It is crucial for compatibility between gears that need to mesh with each other. We can supply spur gears with various modules to suit your needs.

• Number of Teeth (T): This is the number of teeth you require on your gear. The number of teeth directly influences the transmission ratio and the performance of your system. Please let us know how many teeth you need for your specific application.

• Bore Diameter (ØB): The bore diameter is the diameter of the shaft on which the gear is to be mounted. It is essential to specify this diameter accurately so that the gear fits firmly and securely on the shaft. Pay attention to tolerances: if the gears need to move freely, provide an extra clearance of 0.1 mm!

• Gear Thickness (W): The gear thickness is the width of the teeth on the gear. This parameter influences the load capacity and strength of the gear. Please let us know what width you need for your application.

• Outer Diameter (ØD): Calculated as Module x (Number of teeth + 2)

• Pitch Circle Diameter: Calculated as Module x Number of teeth
